Editorial policy and data standards
oddmind.app separates three things that are often blurred together on prediction sites: market data, mathematical output and editorial explanation. This page documents who produces each layer, how it is checked and what happens when a source or result changes.
What is calculated
Probabilities are generated from bookmaker market prices by deterministic software. The calculation removes market margin, estimates goal rates and derives outcomes from one score matrix. A language model cannot change these numbers, select a more attractive signal or rewrite a completed result.
What is editorial
Match context explains relevant public information such as schedules, team news and recent events. It is distinct from the mathematical forecast and is labelled accordingly. Context is published only when it contains usable source links and enough match-specific information to help a reader understand the fixture.
Use of AI
AI assists with organising and translating explanations. Automated checks reject previews that introduce unsupported percentages, odds, guarantees or prohibited promotional claims. Pages without a substantial preview and sourced context remain accessible as product pages, but are excluded from search indexing and advertising surfaces.
Sources and attribution
Where external facts are used, the match page lists the source title and a direct link. Sources remain responsible for their reporting. We do not copy complete articles and we do not present third-party reporting as our own investigation.
Updates and corrections
Market probabilities may update before the official publication window as prices change. The official signal is then locked before kick-off and is not rewritten after the result. Final scores are supplied separately and are displayed beside the original signal. Material factual errors in editorial context should be corrected or removed rather than silently repurposed.
Commercial independence
Advertising and partner arrangements cannot alter probabilities, the primary signal, published history or editorial conclusions. Commercial links are identified as sponsored. The site does not promise profit and does not describe a probability as certainty.
Corrections
When a material factual error is confirmed, the affected context is corrected or removed. The original mathematical signal and settled result are preserved so that a correction cannot improve the public performance record.
